I went to Resto last night for dinner, and it was quite pleasant. I like the look of the place on the inside, and the Belgian beer list is extensive and awesome. However, I think this place tries way too hard to be too low key and chill, when at the end of the day the people who go there are far from that. The food was good, if not quite a bit overpriced for what it is. (I had the burger, but it wasn't the most special burger I have ever had in my life.) Next time I go, I think I'll be in the mood for some Mussels and Frites which looked quite delectable. Also, I may need to try a blonder Belgian beer. I tried to be creative and I went for the double ale. It was pretty dark and quite heavy, but it was one of the most flavorful beers out there. I also want to try this awesome beer from Cooperstown that looked pretty sexy on the menu, a faux-Belgian one of sorts. Anyway, Resto is relaxing, but that part of town, the dregs of Murray Hill does nothing for me.
