Goto

If you're looking to chow down on some big, bold flavors, Goto is not the place for you. Here, expect to find exquisitely fine traditional Japanese food with clean, subtle tones on the palate.

I was lucky to try out a 10-course menu that consisted mostly of fish and vegetables, leaving me feeling full, but not guilty. Generally, dishes were very simple and once again proved that high-quality, fresh ingredients requires little tampering with to be successful.

The details were nice: from being asked to choose from an assortment of different sake glasses, to the hand-whisked foamy green tea served after dessert. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I didn't see the tab to comment on value-for-money, but I am guessing it cost quite a bit--don't forget to bring the plastic since you'll probably be short of cash!
